User Ratings and Reviews

3 Stars Nice journal, outdated quote
This is a very nicely constructed journal and I was eager to start using it, until I saw that on the bottom of every other page, it has this quote “Nothing tastes as good as thin feels”. It’s a very unhealthy and outdated message and not particularly motivating. It needs to go the way of the Jane Fonda videos. Unfortunate, as I would give it 5 stars for construction and layout, but the quote just irritates me.

2 Stars Not very useful
The area for recording food intake has three lines only for each meal. So if you eat a piece of chicken, a veggie, a drink, and bread or dessert, there is not enough room to record it all. I had a breakfast of 1/2 grapefruit, 1 wheat english muffin, 2 pieces of turkey bacon, skim milk and fresh OJ, and I could not record the meal, not enough room. I gave up on this journal after two days.

5 Stars Very nice journal!
I just received my journal, and I absolutely love it. It is very well made. If the other reviewer had a problem with the quote on the bottom of the page, that’s no reason to deduct stars. It’s very easy to cross it off and put in a quote of your own. Or, I just change the word “thin” to “fit” in my mind. “Nothing tastes as good as fit feels” would be very appropriate. In any event, I’m happy to have a journal I can use to track my fitness goals & keep so I can refer back to it when necessary. I tried a couple of on-line tools, but both were very cumbersome in how to enter in all your food and nutrition information. I just wanted something easy that I could jot things down in, and this fits the bill perfectly.
